Recent Highlights

Back-to-back victories at the Australia Cup in Canberra and the Brisbane Athletics Classic in 2010 provided the ideal footing for the IAAF Melbourne Track Classic where Lachlan crossed the line in 1:47.26 to place fifth in the fastest race ever seen on Australian soil.

Lachlan headed to Sydney late March and defended his 800m title at the New South Wales State Championships, stopping the clock at 1:51.47 in a very tactical affair.

At the Go for 2&5 88th Australian Athletics Championships during April, Lachlan took to the start line for the 800m, taking victory in his heat (1:49.44) before winning his second open age national title in a time of 1:46.66.

Lauchlan secured his place in the 2010 Austrlian Commonwealth Games Team and went on to qualify for the 800m final but unforortunately had to withdrawl due to injury.
